Who we are
Behind Second Chance for Life there are not just volunteers and veterinarians — there are people who refuse to walk past someone else's pain. Every day we fight for those who have no voice: abandoned puppies and kittens across Bulgaria. Our mission is not simply to take them off the street, but to heal their souls and bring them where they have always deserved to be — home.
The path to a new life

From the cold street, danger and loneliness — every animal who comes to us receives what matters most: the promise that the worst is behind them and they are finally safe.
Care for body and soul
Medical check-ups, vaccines and warm meals are only the foundation. We heal their wounds, restore their trust in people and teach them to wag their tails and purr peacefully again.
